Beşiktaş made a significant reinforcement to its defense line on the last day of the transfer window. The black-and-white team brought Ivorian defender Emmanuel Agbadou, who was wearing the Wolverhampton jersey, to Istanbul.

In a statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform regarding the transfer from the black-and-white team, it was stated that a transfer fee of 18 million euros would be paid to Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.
The statement included, "An agreement has been reached with the club and the professional football player Badobre Emmanuel Elysee Djedje Agbadou regarding the transfer. A total transfer fee of 18,000,000 Euros will be paid to Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club (1986) Limited. An agreement has been reached with the player for 4.5 seasons until the end of the 2029-2030 season."
