The countdown has begun for the lottery draw of 100,000 housing units to be built in Istanbul as part of TOKİ's project for 500,000 social housing units. An official announcement is expected regarding the lottery draw date. Meanwhile, the lists of candidates whose applications have been accepted have been published on TOKİ's official website; citizens can check their results using their Turkish ID numbers.
The exciting wait continues for the lottery draw of 100,000 houses to be built in Istanbul as part of TOKİ's 500,000 social housing project. After the completion of the lottery processes in Ankara and Izmir, all eyes are now on the official lottery calendar to be announced for Istanbul.
WHEN IS THE TOKİ ISTANBUL LOTTERY DRAW?
As the lottery draws across Turkey approach their conclusion under the project conducted by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, the date for Istanbul has not yet been finalized. With the completion of the lotteries in Ankara and Izmir in the first week of March, millions of applicants are now focused on the draws to be held in Istanbul.
The next major stop in TOKİ's lottery marathon will be Istanbul. The lottery draws that will determine the rightful owners of approximately 100,000 houses are expected to be clarified with the calendar to be announced this week (March 9-14). According to the announced program, it is anticipated that the lotteries will be conducted district by district and spread over several days.
The draws will be held in the presence of a notary and will be announced to the public via live broadcast as usual. This way, applicants will be able to follow the lottery results in real-time.
So far, the lottery draws in 79 provinces across Turkey have been completed. It is stated that the final process will be conducted in Istanbul and Çorum. Officials from the Ministry and TOKİ express that the entire lottery process is planned to be completed by the end of March.

The application evaluation process for citizens who applied for the Istanbul TOKİ project has also been completed. The lists of accepted and rejected candidates have been published on TOKİ's official website. Candidates can check their results by entering their T.C. identity numbers into the system.

PAYMENT PLAN AND DOWN PAYMENT AMOUNTS FOR 1+1 AND 2+1 HOUSES
The payment plan for Istanbul TOKİ houses has also been determined. Accordingly;
55 square meter 1+1 houses will be sold with a down payment of 195,000 TL and a monthly installment of 7,313 TL,
65 square meter 2+1 houses will be sold with a down payment of 245,000 TL and a monthly installment of 9,188 TL,
80 square meter 2+1 houses will be sold with a down payment of 295,000 TL and a monthly installment of 11,063 TL.
Additionally, the starting installment amount will be updated every 6 months according to the previous civil servant salary increase rate.
