A decision has been made in the "paternity case" filed against journalist Uğur Dündar by a person named D.G. The court concluded that Dündar is not the biological father of D.G. and rejected the case. Following the court's decision, Uğur Dündar made a statement on his social media account.

The hearing held at the Isparta 3rd Family Court was attended by the lawyers of the parties, while Uğur Dündar and D.G. did not participate. The judge stated that they would conclude the case and reported that the Forensic Medicine Institution had conducted a DNA examination, indicating that there was no evidence regarding biological paternity. The court, announcing its decision, concluded that "Uğur Dündar is not the biological father of D.G." and rejected the case.

After the decision, Dündar made a statement on his social media account, saying, "The Forensic Medicine Institution's DNA examination definitively rejected the claim of biological paternity. The court also made its decision yesterday and rejected this unnecessary case," he stated.

'WE WILL TAKE THE FILE TO THE COURT OF APPEALS'

D.G.'s lawyers, Ahmet Furkan Uludağ and Ferihan Polat, regarding the decision, stated, "Although Dündar has made a statement as if the process has completely ended and there have been statements in some daytime programs in this direction, our objections to the DNA report remain. The DNA test and reporting phase were not conducted in accordance with the procedure and are full of errors. This leads us to believe that the report does not reflect the truth. Therefore, we will take the file to the higher court, the Court of Appeals. The Court of Appeals will evaluate our objections and make a decision. In summary; there is still no definitive decision in a case that the opposing party defines as 'unnecessary' but has cost our client his life. Our legal struggle continues," they said.
