A 37-year-old woman, who committed numerous thefts in Büyükçekmece and Esenyurt, was caught on security cameras and taken into custody by the police. Her previous criminal record drew attention.

A female suspect involved in numerous theft incidents in Büyükçekmece and Esenyurt was detained by police after being caught on security cameras. It was revealed that the suspect stole everything she could find, from hospitals to restaurants, markets to phone shops.

SHE ENTERED THE HOSPITAL AS A CUSTOMER

On August 9, the woman entered a private hospital in Büyükçekmece as a customer and disappeared after taking 10,000 lira and a bag belonging to an employee.

SHE TOOK THE GOLD AND MONEY AND FLED

On December 11, the suspect entered a restaurant and stole a bag hanging on a chair, which contained gold worth 55,000 lira and 20,000 lira in cash.

CAMERAS GAVE HER AWAY

After a series of thefts, police teams began examining security camera footage. As a result of the investigations, the suspect was identified as Semra H.B. (37).

HER CRIMINAL RECORD IS EXTENSIVE

It was determined that the arrested suspect had a criminal record for numerous offenses, including theft from workplaces and institutions, open theft, intentional injury, insult, threats, human trafficking, and child abduction and detention.

SHE ALSO ROBBED A MARKET AND A PHONE SHOP

Police investigations revealed that the suspect stole 2,400 lira worth of products from a chain market in Esenyurt and a speaker worth 750 lira from a phone shop. It was learned that the moments of the theft were captured on security cameras.

SHE WAS CAUGHT IN SILIVRI

Police teams apprehended Semra H.B. in an operation at her address in Silivri. It was reported that the suspect was referred to the courthouse after her procedures at the police station.
