The spokesperson for the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity stated that the gas flow from Iran has gradually begun and the amount has reached 5 million cubic meters.
The crisis following the bombing attacks on Iran's South Pars field has been resolved. Iraq announced that gas supplies from Iran have resumed.
Iraq's Electricity Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Musa stated in a press release to the national media that Iranian gas is being pumped back to Iraq, indicating that the amount is approximately 5 million cubic meters.
GAS SUPPLY HAS RESUMED
Musa emphasized that this amount will gradually increase, strengthening the national energy system and enhancing the operational capacity of power plants, stating, "The gas flow was temporarily halted due to the bombardment of Iran's South Pars field, which negatively affected the power plants."
"ELECTRICITY SITUATION IS ENCOURAGING"
Musa noted that the electricity situation in the country is 'encouraging', stating that alternative sources are ready and planned works are ongoing.
