The dates for the additional holiday payments for approximately 1.3 million workers employed in the public sector in 2025 have been published in the Official Gazette. The first payment will be made on June 2, and the second payment will be made on December 17.
According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, the first half of the additional payment to be given to workers employed in state and affiliated institutions in 2025 will be paid on June 2, and the other half on December 17.
The presidential decision regarding the determination of the periods for the additional payment to be given to workers employed in institutions covered by Law No. 6772 was published in the Official Gazette.
PAYMENT DATES ANNOUNCED
Accordingly, the first half of the additional payment to be given to workers employed in state and affiliated institutions in 2025 will be paid on June 2, and the other half on December 17.
MINISTRY STATEMENT
In a statement regarding the decision, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security shared the following on its official social media account:
"According to the decision published in the Official Gazette signed by our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the payment dates for the second half of the additional payment for our workers employed in state and affiliated institutions in 2025 have been announced. The first half of the additional payment will be paid on June 2, 2025, before the Eid al-Adha, and the second half will be paid on December 17, 2025. We wish good fortune to our workers in the public sector."
