In the Döşemealtı district of Antalya, the death toll from the accident caused by a passenger bus on the Tekirdağ-Antalya route overturning into a ditch has risen to 10.

The passenger bus belonging to the Buzlu company, which was on the Tekirdağ-Antalya route, overturned into the ditch after hitting the barriers in the Döşemealtı district. Upon notification, health, fire, AFAD, gendarmerie, and police teams were dispatched to the accident site.
ACCIDENT LIKE A MASSACRE
Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, after receiving information from officials at the accident site, stated in a press conference that the passenger bus, which set off from Tekirdağ last night, rolled into the ditch at around 10:20 at the Kömürler Junction in the Döşemealtı district after failing to take the curve.
Şahin expressed that the cause of the accident would be determined after a technical investigation, saying, "The ground is wet, and there was fog in the area. It is not a place to speed, but it seems that the bus was going fast."
In a new statement made by Governor Şahin at Antalya Training and Research Hospital, he noted that 8 people lost their lives at the scene, and 22 others were taken to hospitals with injuries.

After the bus driver İzzet Karaağaç, who was taken to Antalya Training and Research Hospital, another person lost their life, bringing the total number of fatalities in the accident to 10.
