HAD A FIGHT WITH HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT
İzzettin Süğüt, who is on trial for 'intentional murder', stated in his first hearing at the 3rd Heavy Penal Court that he had been staying in the nursing home for 5 years, that he was an epilepsy patient, and that he had previously suffered a severe brain hemorrhage, stating that he was not provided with a nursing home vehicle for his hospital appointment and that he was asked to go by taxi despite not having money. Following this, he said he touched the nurse's face with his hand, but the nurse screamed, 'He assaulted me.' Süğüt later stated that he had a dispute with the institution's director and nurses, that he was threatened, and that he was forced to sign.
"MY AIM WAS TO SCARE THE DIRECTOR"
Süğüt said that after leaving the nursing home the next day, his psychology deteriorated and he lost control, went to the kitchen in anger, took a knife, and that his aim was to scare the director, but he attacked his roommates Ali Serdar Batır and Ahmet Özdemirel in a fit of rage, while Selçuk tried to stop him.
