THEY RECEIVED THE MONEY
In a statement made by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated, "In the investigation file numbered 2024/228233 of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office; as a result of the statements of some suspects who expressed their desire to benefit from the effective remorse provisions and the examination of the documents they submitted; it was determined that due to the pressures and coercions exerted by Fatih Keleş regarding the tenders received from the IBB and its affiliates, they were forced to give money to the individuals designated by Fatih Keleş. Consequently, it was decided to conduct searches and seizure operations at the addresses of Büyükçekmece Deputy Mayor Ahmet Şahin and his driver, who were found to have received the money, and to detain them on charges of bribery."
