Under the "Housing Project of the Century," the province where the most housing units will be built is Istanbul, with 100,000 units, followed by Ankara (30,823), Izmir (21,020), Bursa (17,225), and Konya (15,000). The least number of housing units, 619, will be constructed in Ardahan. Following Ardahan are Bayburt (723), Tunceli (775), Gümüşhane (926), and Sinop (947).

Within the scope of the "Century's Housing Project" announced by President Erdoğan, the distribution of 500,000 social housing units to be built across Turkey has been revealed by province. The provinces where the most and the least housing units will be constructed have drawn attention.

THE MOST HOUSING IN ISTANBUL

At the top of the list is Istanbul with 100,000 housing units. It is followed by Ankara with 30,823 housing units and Izmir with 21,020 housing units. The other provinces in the top five are Bursa (17,225) and Konya (15,000). These five major cities account for approximately 36% of the total 500,000 housing units.

THE LEAST HOUSING IN ARDAHAN

At the bottom of the list is Ardahan with 619 housing units. Ardahan is followed by Bayburt (723), Tunceli (775), Gümüşhane (926), and Sinop (947). These provinces are among the areas with low population density.

COMPREHENSIVE SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION IN 81 PROVINCES

The project is being carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of the Republic of Turkey and TOKİ. The aim is to construct the housing units in harmony with the environment and local texture through horizontal architecture. When the "Century's Housing Project" is completed, hundreds of thousands of families will own homes with affordable installments under state assurance.
