The doctor passed away while on duty in Konya.

Dr. Kenan Dölek, a 41-year-old Anesthesiologist and father of two, suffered a heart attack while on duty at the State Hospital in Ereğli, Konya. His colleagues immediately intervened when Dr. Kenan Dölek suddenly fell ill while he was on duty at the hospital. Despite all the efforts made, Dölek could not be saved and passed away. A ceremony was held at the Ereğli State Hospital where he worked, and a funeral prayer was conducted for Dr. Kenan Dölek. After the ceremony attended by his colleagues, Dölek's body was sent to his hometown, Uşak.

Konya Provincial Health Director Prof. Dr. Mehmet Koç also expressed his condolences in a statement following the tragic incident, saying, "I have learned with deep sorrow that our colleague, Uz. Dr. Kenan Dölek, who served as an Anesthesia and Reanimation Specialist at our Ereğli State Hospital, passed away due to a sudden illness. I wish God's mercy upon our colleague, and I extend my condolences and patience to his grieving family, relatives, and the entire healthcare community."
