Volkan Konak suddenly fell ill during a concert he gave in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and was taken to the hospital, where he passed away despite all the interventions. Ahmet Görkem Yasak, who was the first to intervene on stage, shared a heartbreaking memory. Yasak recounted how, 20 years ago during his university years, Volkan Konak visited the student dormitory where he was staying and offered them assistance.
Volkan Konak suffered a heart attack on stage during a concert he gave in the city of Famagusta, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The first intervention was performed by doctors who attended the concert. While doctors and the emergency medical team present at the concert venue performed CPR for about 40 minutes, the artist was later transferred to the hospital at 00:10. It was reported that Konak was admitted to the hospital at 00:17 as 'Ex duhul' (deceased), and a team of specialist doctors provided advanced life support for 25 minutes. However, despite all interventions, Volkan Konak passed away at 00:42.
HEARTBREAKING MOMENT
The first intervention for Volkan Konak was performed by doctors who attended the concert. One of these doctors, Ahmet Görkem Yasak, shared a memory he had with Volkan Konak during his university years on his social media page. In his post, Yasak wrote, "We listened to you without knowing that we would be performing CPR on you half an hour later. Despite everything we did, we couldn't save you; I wish it hadn't been so early... It was 20 years ago... You came to our student dormitory and gave us your phone number, saying, 'If you need anything, just call me directly.' The young person you helped grew up to become a doctor and tried to save you in your final moments.
