In Avcılar, the impatience of an İETT driver resulted in a disaster: Those moments were captured on camera. A baby in a stroller got stuck in the door while being taken out by its mother and fell to the ground.
In the Yeşilkent neighborhood of Avcılar district in Istanbul, due to the hasty behavior of the İETT bus driver approaching the stop on the street, the baby stroller got stuck in the door.
THE BABY FELL TO THE GROUND
During the incident where the mother was taking the stroller with the baby inside, the baby fell down. After the incident, the mother was bewildered while the driver continued on his way without stopping. It was learned that the baby's health condition is good.
A SIMILAR INCIDENT HAPPENED YESTERDAY
It was surprising that a similar incident occurred at the same stop yesterday. Again, a woman getting off the bus with a baby stroller got stuck in the door due to the driver's quick actions. Both incidents were recorded by the security camera of a nearby business.
In the first footage, the baby falling from the stroller while getting off the bus is shown, while the other footage shows the baby stroller getting stuck in the door again.
"THE BABY FELL TO THE GROUND AND THE DRIVER LEFT WITHOUT STOPPING"
Abdullah Ayhan, a local shopkeeper, described the events, saying, "Yesterday and today, due to the driver's negligence at the İETT stop, it caused children to fall and get stuck while women with children were getting off. Today, the child fell to the ground and the driver left without stopping. Similar things are happening."
