After drinking alcohol in Aksaray, the candidate driver who got behind the wheel had an accident and when caught, said, "I drank for the first time, and I had an accident then."
After consuming alcohol in Aksaray, a 20-year-old candidate driver, who got behind the wheel, crashed into an electrical panel. There were no injuries in the accident, while the driver's license was revoked and a fine of 11,629 lira was imposed.
DRUNK DRIVER CRASHED
The accident occurred on Tacin Street in the Tacin neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Mustafa Y. (20), who took to the traffic with his vehicle with license plate 68 HH 870 after drinking alcohol, pressed the brake in the curve without realizing that the road was icy. As he pressed the brake, the young driver lost control of the steering wheel, causing the car to mount the sidewalk and crash into the electrical panel.
HE WAS A CANDIDATE DRIVER, HIS LICENSE WAS REVOKED
While the young driver was uninjured in the accident, other drivers immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Health teams, who arrived at the accident scene shortly, checked the driver, while the alcohol test conducted by the police revealed that the driver had a blood alcohol level of 0.94 promille. The young man, identified as a candidate driver, had his license permanently revoked, and he was fined 11,629 lira for driving under the influence.

Mustafa Y. said, "The damage is significant, my speed was low, but there is nothing to be done because the weather was icy. Driving under the influence is legally prohibited, and I am a person who does not drink alcohol. I only had one glass today, and it got out of control. I drank for the first time, and I crashed." After the procedures, the car was handed over to the relatives of the driver who was called to the scene.
