Two Eurofighter fighter jets belonging to the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom, which Turkey has been in talks to purchase and participated in exercises in Qatar, landed at the Mürted Air Base Command in Ankara. It was announced that the aircraft would be inspected by Turkish officials.

The Eurofighter Typhoon, a multi-role, 4.5 generation twin-engine fighter jet made in Europe, which Turkey has requested to purchase, has landed at the Mürted Air Base Command in Ankara.
