The special program organized at the Capital City National Garden on the occasion of AK Party's 25th anniversary has begun. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived at the venue together with his wife Emine Erdogan. The program features special shows and various events narrating the 25-year political journey.
The AK Party is preparing to celebrate its 25th anniversary with a special program to be held in Ankara. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will also attend the program, which will take place at the Capital Nation Garden under the slogan "A Quarter Century with Our Nation, Turkey Ready for the Future."
15 THOUSAND PARTY MEMBERS DEPART FROM ISTANBUL TO ANKARA
Citizens from all over Turkey have set out to participate in the celebrations. Notably, approximately 15 thousand organization members from 39 districts of Istanbul have started moving toward Ankara. Party members, traveling with 300 buses as well as high-speed trains and private vehicles, gathered at a rest facility in Kocaeli. Following the gathering there, the group of about 15 thousand people moved to Ankara.

The crowd is steadily growing before the event at the Capital Nation Garden. Citizens arriving at the area and AK Party organization members have begun to fill the venue where the program will start, with Turkish flags and party banners in hand. As enthusiastic scenes form in the rally area, the number of people is also increasing as minutes pass.
UNUSUAL SEATING ARRANGEMENT
An unusual arrangement will be implemented at the program at the Capital Nation Garden. Apart from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife Emine Erdogan, no chairs will be reserved for anyone, including ministers, party executives, and protocol members. Protocol members will also follow the program standing alongside the citizens. Thus, the aim is to highlight the message of "embracing the nation" at the 25th anniversary event.
ERDOGAN WILL SIT WITH 25 YOUNG PEOPLE BORN ON AUGUST 14
One of the most striking details of the program is that Erdogan and Emine Erdogan will sit with 25 young people born on August 14. In the event specially prepared for the AK Party's 25th founding anniversary, a special place will be allocated for these young people during the program.
MEANINGFUL WREATH FROM BAHCELI
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli also sent a special wreath for the AK Party's 25th founding anniversary program. The wreath brought to the Capital Nation Garden was decorated with red and white carnations. At the bottom of the wreath, the number "25" was created using white and orange carnations.
SPECIAL MEDALLION PREPARED FOR THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY
A special medallion was also prepared for the 25th anniversary of the AK Party's founding. Within the scope of the program, it is planned to compile the poems previously read by President Erdogan into an album and press them onto a vinyl record, while it is also aimed to plant 25 million trees across Turkey throughout the year.
EYES ON PRESIDENT ERDOGAN'S SPEECH
All eyes at the program are turned to the speech to be given by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. AK Party Spokesperson Omer Celik stated that Erdogan's speech would not be just an anniversary speech, saying, "We will share with our nation how we walked the 25-year path and how we will walk from now on. Our President's speech will be one of the historic speeches of the history of the Republic, beyond a 25th anniversary speech. In these 25 years, a political path of nearly 250 years has been walked." It is also noteworthy that Erdogan's speech coincides with the period when the Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration, approved with 467 votes in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, was submitted to the President's approval. Therefore, Erdogan is expected to deliver important messages regarding the Terror-Free Turkey process, the framework law, and the new era.
