A fire broke out around 4:00 PM in an area filled with garbage waste in the Cihadiye neighborhood of Aksu district, Antalya. The flames rising from the area next to Cihadiye Cemetery quickly grew as the surrounding waste caught fire.

Many fire crews were dispatched to the area upon notification. While citizens who noticed the fire tried to intervene, the flames spread rapidly due to the wind. The flames spread to the furniture factory located near the cemetery. While the wooden materials and products in the factory's yard burned, the teams intervened in the fire.
