The legendary figure of Arabesque music, Ferdi Tayfur (79), was recently hospitalized in Muğla after falling ill at his home in Marmaris. It was reported that Tayfur was suffering from a cold, and upon the request of the doctor from the hospital in Antalya where he had previously undergone a kidney transplant, he was transferred to this city by air ambulance.

In a statement regarding Tayfur's health condition after his surgery the other day, his doctor Asuman Yavuz said, "Mr. Ferdi Tayfur was urgently hospitalized in a hospital in Muğla last week due to low blood pressure. The doctors there were very helpful. Chief Physician Sumur Bey and Cardiologist Bülent Bey were very concerned. I say may God bless our state; thanks to e-nabız, I saw all of Mr. Ferdi's films on Monday. With the last-minute interpretation of radiology, we detected an undesirable image in the sinuses. He was quickly brought in by military aircraft for intervention on that image."

Continuing her statement, Yavuz noted that the famous singer's condition is good, saying, "He was intervened and cleaned by an ear, nose, and throat specialist here. There are no problems left at the moment. He is receiving supportive antibiotics for that. His condition is good. There are no issues related to his brain either.
