The incident occurred in the early morning hours on 3505 Street in the Topçuasım neighborhood. According to the information obtained, a dispute broke out between E.Ö. (83) and his wife Emine Ö. (72) for an undetermined reason. After the argument, E.Ö. killed his wife, who was sleeping in bed, by cutting her throat with a knife. After the murder, the elderly man, who called his grandchild saying, "I killed your grandmother," surrendered to the police teams that arrived at the address. An examination by the medical team determined that Emine Ö. had lost her life.
