The forest fire that started in the Latakia region of Syria and has been ongoing for days has spread to the Yayladağı district of Turkey's Hatay province. Firefighting teams from the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality and the Regional Forestry Directorate are intervening in the flames that crossed the border, while the Yayladağı district has been covered by a layer of smoke due to the ongoing fire.
The forest fire that broke out in the Latakia region of Syria has spread to the Yayladağı district of Hatay, located in the southernmost part of Turkey. Teams are intervening in the flames that continue along the border and occasionally cross into Turkey.
A support team from Turkey had previously gone to extinguish the forest fire that started some time ago in the Turkmen Mountain region of Latakia, Syria.
THE FIRE IN SYRIA SPREAD TO TURKEY
In the forest fire that has been ongoing for days, the flames have reached the border of Yayladağı district in Hatay, located in the southernmost part of the country. The Hatay Metropolitan Municipality fire brigade and the Regional Directorate of Forestry teams, which are on alert, are intervening in the flames that occasionally cross the border.

Due to the forest fire that has been ongoing for days, the Yayladağı district has been covered in a layer of smoke. Celal Sarı, who stated that the teams are on alert along the border, wished good luck to the teams intervening in the flames.
