Meanwhile, fans drew attention by unfurling a banner saying "Merci Tarkan Ser" and chanting "Turquie" while thanking with Turkish flags before the match against Lille in the French Cup, which they lost 1-0.

After the match against Lille, Ser stated, "We lost, but we are proud of our team. The level is very high. Lille's budget is 268 million Euros, while our team's budget is 5 million Euros. However, there was no such difference in the football on the field. Hopefully, we will be promoted to the second league," he said.
