Former French footballer Adil Rami reacted strongly to Cristiano Ronaldo's comment that 'the Saudi Arabian League is better than Ligue 1.'

In his statement, Adil Rami said, "Cristiano Ronaldo is talking nonsense. Do you want me to show you pictures of the defenders playing in Arabia? The players there are overweight and don't care about football."

Continuing his statements, the former player said, "I like him, but just because he has a great career doesn't mean everything he says is true. Let him play against your small teams, Monaco, Lille, Marseille, and Brest. What Ronaldo is doing is just a PR stunt."
