The adoption of the Framework Law, prepared as the legal basis for the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process, by the Turkish Grand National Assembly has topped the political agenda. Following the vote, statements came one after another from many figures, notably Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, and Justice Minister Akın Gürlek, while Pervin Buldan's words, 'Our work is long, our road is long,' drew attention.
Following the approval of the Draft Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration, prepared within the scope of the "Terror-Free Türkiye" process, in the GNAT General Assembly, statements came one after another from political figures. The messages highlighted the emphasis on national unity, social integration, and a terror-free Türkiye.
CEVDET YILMAZ: TÜRKİYE WILL BE THE WINNER
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, in his statement after the regulation was approved in the GNAT General Assembly, stated that the process was carried out with "national capacity and wisdom."
Yılmaz emphasized the importance of the broad consensus in Parliament, saying, "The Türkiye Model has been implemented. With the successful completion of the process, there will be no losers; the Republic of Türkiye and our 86 million citizens will be the winners."
Yılmaz, who said that the goal of a Terror-Free Türkiye has turned into a state policy, noted that in the upcoming process, it is expected that the steps of disarmament and dissolution will be implemented as soon as possible.
BURHANETTİN DURAN: A HISTORIC STEP
Director of Communications Burhanettin Duran, in his post on his social media account, evaluated the adoption of the law as an important indicator of the determined will put forward in line with the "Terror-Free Türkiye" goal.
Duran stated that the regulation is an important step for Türkiye to completely get rid of terrorism and to strengthen unity and integrity, and thanked the political parties and deputies who contributed to the process.
AKIN GÜRLEK: ENACTED WITH STRONG WILL
Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek, in his statement after the law was adopted, said that the regulation is important for the peace of the nation and the security of the state.
Gürlek said, "Our goal of a Terror-Free Türkiye will leave behind the heavy costs that terrorism has imposed on our country and make peace, trust, and brotherhood permanent."
Gürlek, who thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli for their leadership in the process, wished that the law would be beneficial for the country and the nation.
PERVİN BULDAN: OUR WORK IS LONG, OUR PATH IS LONG
Pervin Buldan, a member of the DEM Party İmralı Delegation and Deputy Speaker of the GNAT, also made a brief assessment after the acceptance of the Framework Law.
Buldan said, "Let it be auspicious, let's say that. Our work is long, our path is long."
Buldan's statement was one of the notable messages regarding the next stages of the process after the law's adoption.
HISTORIC VOTE IN PARLIAMENT
The regulation, adopted after discussions lasting approximately 12 hours, is considered by the government as a historic step in terms of establishing the legal framework of the "Terror-Free Türkiye" process.
