"WE ARE AT A MOMENT OF SHAME FOR OUR HUMANITY"In his speech here, Provincial Mufti Celal Büyük said, "We are here to bid farewell to our Narin, who flies to heaven." Büyük stated the following; "We are at a moment, a day when we are ashamed of our humanity, our conscience. Today, what lies on the catafalque is actually our conscience, our humanity. May Allah make us people with conscience and morality. Hopefully, as a society, we will reconsider and remember our humanity again. As we progress towards being a moral society within the framework taught by the Quran and the Sunnah, our Narin is in heaven, she is innocent. Believe me, she is in heaven. Of course, those who are accountable for this will definitely be held accountable. This is what belongs to the world. But my fear is, we are burying this child, how will we be accountable to Allah? We need to reconsider our conscience, our humanity. May Allah treat our child with His mercy." BURIED AMIDST TEARSLater, the funeral prayer was led by Provincial Mufti Büyük. After the prayer, Güran's body was placed in an ambulance on shoulders. The funeral, brought to Tavşantepe Cemetery, was buried amidst tears.
