SON-IN-LAW STORMS CONTAINER, SPREADS TERROR
The incident occurred in the container city in the Koçören neighborhood of Defne district. A disagreement arose between Lamiya Azazi (30) and a man named Üstün, who had been engaged about 6 months earlier. Following the dispute, Lamiya Azazi decided to break off the engagement. The other night, the man stormed the container where the earthquake-affected family lived. The son-in-law shot his fiancée Lamiya Azazi and her 65-year-old father Yusuf Azazi with the pistol he had with him. Health teams dispatched to the scene determined that the father and daughter had died.
HE THREW THE RING BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT HER TO WORK
The bodies of the father and daughter were taken to the morgue after the scene investigation. It was learned that gendarmerie teams continue their efforts to capture the perpetrator. The reason for Lamiya Azazi, who was a hairdresser, breaking off the engagement was reportedly because the son-in-law did not want her to work.
“I LEAVE IT TO GOD”
Temem Azazi, who lost her husband and daughter, said, "My daughter's fiancé came yesterday; they had broken up one day earlier. First he shot her father, then my daughter. There was no problem or trouble between them. There was no argument either. The girl had decided to break up. They got engaged in December and had decided to break up yesterday. I leave it to God. My husband was outside drinking tea and coffee. When the son-in-law came, I called him. He shot my husband before he could reach the container. I am in pain because both my daughter and my husband died."
