The healing water source, believed to be beneficial for diabetes, in Karatekin neighborhood of İznik district in Bursa has dried up. The drying up of the healing water source, which attracted citizens from many parts of Turkey, has surprised the locals. In their statements, the neighborhood residents said, "After our water became known, they flocked to our neighborhood and now our water has dried up. We don't know what to do."
The healing water source in İznik district of Bursa, which is believed to be beneficial for diabetes, has dried up, causing a rush of people from all over Turkey who are seeking a cure for their illness. Citizens from different cities were shocked to see that the water had dried up.
It is claimed that the water coming from the mountains at the foothills of Karatekin Neighborhood is a remedy for diabetes and that no one in the neighborhood, where 500 people live, has diabetes.
It was determined that the water, which is thought to be beneficial for the disease, had a high amount of boron in the tests. Citizens who filled water from the center of the neighborhood and the mosque fountain could also contribute to the village mosque if they wished.
THE WATER SOURCE SUDDENLY DRIED UP
While the healing power of the water spread from mouth to mouth, two days ago the source of the water ran out and the water in the neighborhood also dried up. BUSKİ teams started to reinforce the neighborhood with water tankers. The residents of the neighborhood, on the other hand, said in their statements, "After our water became known, they flocked to our neighborhood and our water dried up. We don't know what to do." A citizen who came to the neighborhood for water from distant roads said, "I came from far away and when I looked, the water had dried up. I don't know what to do, I'm in shock."
