In Avcılar, Istanbul, 87-year-old Zekiye Gönül Pakel did not open the door for her 91-year-old husband, Vehbi Pakel, who had just returned from shopping. While the fire department teams were trying to enter the house through the window, Zekiye Gönül Pakel opened the door, and Vehbi Pakel complained to his wife, saying, "You ruined my life. How could you not hear all this noise?"
In the incident that occurred in Gümüşpala Neighborhood, Vehbi Pakel, who was returning home after shopping, found that his wife, Zekiye Gönül Pakel, did not open the door. When the door did not open, Pakel asked for help from the residents of the building.
HE PANICKED WHEN HE COULDN'T REACH HIS WIFE
When Zekiye Pakel, whom he called out to, did not open the door, 112 Emergency Service was notified. Upon the report, police, health, and fire teams were dispatched to the address. While the health teams tried to calm down Vehbi Pakel, who panicked because he could not reach his wife, the police and fire teams decided to enter the house through the window.
"YOU RUINED MY LIFE"
As the teams reached the window with a basket ladder and entered the house, Zekiye Gönül Pakel, who had not been heard from, opened the door to the police and health teams waiting in front of the apartment. Seeing his wife, whom he was worried about, healthy, Vehbi Pakel said to her, "You ruined my life. How could you not hear all this noise?" Zekiye Pakel replied that she was unaware of anything because she did not hear, while Vehbi Pakel thanked the officials.
