In Antalya, a detached house struck by lightning burned to ashes in the fire that broke out. It was reported that no one was in the house at the time of the incident.
In Antalya, where the General Directorate of Meteorology issued a precipitation warning, a downpour that suddenly began in the evening hours was felt in different parts of the city. While puddles formed on avenues and streets, vehicles and pedestrians had difficult moments.
LIGHTNING STRUCK A HOUSE
While precipitation continued intermittently in the city, lightning struck a detached house in the Kepez district. A fire broke out after lightning struck the house on 5370th Street in Göçerler Neighborhood. Antalya Metropolitan Municipality fire crews who arrived at the scene upon neighbors' reports intervened in the flames.
THE HOUSE WAS REDUCED TO ASHES
It was learned that no one was in the house during the fire. In the fire extinguished by fire crews, the house became unusable.
