Houthi Military Spokesman Yahya Seri stated in a video statement published on the Houthis' social media accounts that their missile forces, air forces, and naval forces conducted a joint military operation in the Red Sea and Tel Aviv in recent hours.
THEY TARGETED WARSHIPS IN THE RED SEA
Seri noted that in the operation they conducted in the Red Sea, they targeted enemy warships, primarily the US aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman, from which attacks on Yemen were initiated. Spokesman Seri also expressed that in a previously conducted operation, military targets in the Israeli area of Jaffa in Tel Aviv were hit by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and that the targets were directly struck.
"WE WILL CONTINUE UNTIL THE ATTACKS ON GAZA END"
Seri emphasized that the Houthis will continue to support the resistance of the Palestinian people and target Israel's maritime transportation, stating that operations will continue until the attacks on Gaza cease. Seri called on all Muslims to take action to stop Israel's genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
US AIR STRIKES IN YEMEN
On March 7, the Houthis announced that they had given Israel a 4-day deadline to allow aid into Gaza, otherwise they would resume maritime operations against Israel. US President Donald Trump announced on March 15 via his Truth Social platform account that he had instructed the military to launch a "major attack" against the Houthis in Yemen.
Houthi leader Abdulmelik al-Houthi also stated that US aircraft and warships would be targets of the Houthis, adding that as long as the attacks continue, the disruptions in maritime operations would also affect Washington. The Houthis reported that 53 people were killed and 107 were injured in airstrikes conducted by the US and the UK in several cities, including the capital Sana.
