The investigation regarding Halit Ergenç and Rıza Kocaoğlu, who provided statements as 'witnesses' in relation to the Gezi Park events, has been completed for the charge of 'false testimony.' In the prepared indictment, it was requested that the two suspects be sentenced to up to 4 years in prison.
The founder and partner manager of D Consultancy Limited Company, Ayşe Barım, was detained on the grounds of being the planner of the Gezi Park events and was subsequently arrested for "aiding and abetting an attempt to overthrow the Government of the Republic of Turkey."
