An investigation has been launched regarding the allegations that I.B., a gynecologist in Silopi, took money from numerous women to perform fake procedures under the names of 'pregnancy treatment' and 'abortion.' It was determined that the fetuses provided by the suspect to the patients did not belong to the victims.

Dr. I.B. (58), who was detained on the allegations of taking money from patients under the guise of 'pregnancy treatment' and 'abortion' in the Silopi district of Şırnak, has been arrested. It was claimed that Dr. I.B. in Silopi performed fake procedures under the name of 'pregnancy treatment' by taking money from many women, and after a while, he told these patients that 'the baby died in the womb' and performed fake abortion procedures. An investigation was launched regarding these allegations. The teams of the Fraud Bureau of the Silopi Public Security Directorate took statements from 12 victims.
DNA MATCHING OF FETUSES GIVEN TO PATIENTS BY SUSPECTS COULD NOT BE PERFORMED
Additionally, it was determined through DNA matching that the fetuses given to the patients by the suspects did not belong to the victims. The expert report also stated that I.B. gave various medications to women, which affected the pregnancy test. Simultaneous raids were conducted in Şırnak, Aydın, and İzmir as part of the investigation. Dr. I.B. and 3 clinic employees were detained. After the procedures, while I.B. was arrested, the others were released under judicial control.
