In the Marmaris district of Muğla, inspections conducted at entertainment venues revealed non-compliance in two establishments. The teams temporarily closed the mentioned businesses.
In the Marmaris district of Muğla, it has been announced that two more businesses have been closed while inspections targeting entertainment venues continue.
Under the instruction of the Marmaris District Governorship, the district police department's patrol teams conducted inspections in the Uzunyalı area, Armutalan, and İçmeler neighborhoods.
ACTION TAKEN AFTER CONTROVERSIAL IMAGES
Following the controversial images that emerged on social media and drew reactions, inspections were intensified, focusing on torch shows, naked dance performances, and persistent and disturbing attempts to invite passersby into the establishments.
2 BUSINESSES CLOSED
Last week, within this scope, 14 venues were closed for periods of 3, 7, and 10 days, including 2 that were closed indefinitely. Most recently, a decision was made to close 2 businesses in the İçmeler neighborhood for 3 days.
NUMBER OF CLOSED BUSINESSES RISES TO 16
Thus, a total of 16 businesses have been closed in the inspections conducted in the tourist district, including 2 indefinitely and 14 for a limited time. The operators of the sealed venues by the Marmaris Municipality teams informed their customers by writing the dates on which they would reopen in front of their establishments.
Officials stated that inspections would continue resolutely and warned that businesses that persist in similar practices could face harsher penalties.
