Hezbollah retaliated against Israel, which continued its attacks on Lebanon after deciding to expand its land occupation. Most recently, missiles launched by Hezbollah fell on Israel's capital, Tel Aviv, and Beit Shemesh. Footage from the region showed that Israel's air defense system, Iron Dome, failed to intercept the missiles, and smoke was seen rising from the impact sites in both cities.
ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON LEBANON
In a statement made by the Israeli army on March 2, it was noted that sirens were activated in the northern part of the country after detecting missile launches from Lebanon. The Israeli army, which announced that it had launched airstrikes across Lebanon targeting the capital Beirut, had decided to expand its ground occupation in Lebanon, where it was conducting intense attacks from the air and sea. Lebanon's Health Minister Reken Nasreddin stated that the death toll from Israel's attacks on Lebanon since March 2 had increased by 100 to 394, while the number of injured had risen to 1,130.
