The Israeli army bombed a moving vehicle in the El-Ghazieh area of the city of Sidon in southern Lebanon using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Initial reports indicate that one person lost their life in the attack.
CONTAINER HOUSES WERE ALSO TARGETED
Security measures were taken by the Lebanese army in the area where the vehicle was hit. According to a report by the Lebanese official agency NNA,
it was stated that the Israeli army also targeted some container houses in the cities of Tyre and Nabatieh in the south during the night. In this attack, one person also lost their life.
The report noted that Israel also struck a fuel station in the region with a UAV. In a statement regarding the attack, the Israeli army claimed that the target was Muhammad Jaafar Abdullah, who is alleged to be a member of Hezbollah.
The statement asserted that Abdullah was responsible for the establishment of Hezbollah's communication systems throughout Lebanon, particularly in the south of the Litani River.
ISRAEL CONTINUES TO VIOLATE THE AGREEMENT
Despite the ceasefire agreement made between Israel and Lebanon on November 27, 2024, it is known that Israel frequently violates the agreement. It is reported that more than 190 people have died and 485 have been injured in attacks carried out by Israel since the ceasefire was established.
