A shopkeeper selling souvenir products in Kahramanmaraş has turned a tea-shaped candle, which he made as a joke for his father, into a source of income.

Feyza Çayır, who contributes to her economy by selling tea-shaped candles in her own workplace in the Demirciler Bazaar of Kurtuluş Neighborhood, said, "So far, there has been a lot of interest and attention towards the tea-shaped candles."

Çayır stated that she was inspired by a joke she made for her father when starting this business, saying, "My father is a tea addict. He drinks tea from a teapot. Later, I thought of such a design and said I could make this, and I did. I had made this design as a joke for my father, but now it is getting a lot of attention," she expressed.

Stating that the candles are her source of income, Çayır continued: "For example, when people come to my shop and see the glass, they say, 'You have forgotten your tea glass here.' Generally, they like its visual appeal and buy it. They buy it as a gift and place orders this way. Right now, these candles have become my source of income."
