In two operations conducted by the Customs Enforcement teams of the Ministry of Trade at a warehouse in Sarıyer and a container at Ambarlı Port in Istanbul, 142,100 electronic cigarette devices with a market value of 310 million 579 thousand liras were seized. The Ministry announced that the amount seized is the highest amount in Turkey's history.

In two separate operations conducted in Istanbul by Ministry of Trade Customs Enforcement teams, 142,100 electronic cigarette devices with a total market value of 310 million 579 thousand liras were seized. The Ministry reported that the seized electronic cigarette devices constitute the highest quantity in Turkey's history.
46,200 DEVICES FOUND IN WAREHOUSE IN SARIYER
According to the Ministry's statement, as a result of the work of the Istanbul Anatolian Customs Enforcement Smuggling and Intelligence Directorate teams, an operation was conducted at a warehouse in Sarıyer.
During the search at the warehouse, 46,200 electronic cigarette devices with a market value of 118 million 445 thousand liras were seized.
INTERCEPTED IN A CONTAINER AT AMBARLI PORT
In the other operation carried out by the Istanbul European Customs Enforcement Smuggling and Intelligence Directorate teams at Ambarlı Port, a risky container arriving to enter Turkey was inspected.
In the container, 95,900 electronic cigarette devices with a market value of 192 million 134 thousand liras were found. It was noted that the market value of the total 142,100 devices seized in the two operations was 310 million 579 thousand liras.
It was reported that investigations regarding the operations are being conducted before the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Büyükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
