The legendary name of Turkish classical music, Muazzez Abacı, suffered a heart attack during her recent visit to the USA to see her daughter Saba Abacı. The master artist was hospitalized, and after an intervention, an angioplasty was performed, and a stent was placed. After receiving treatment in a normal room for a while, a new development occurred regarding Abacı's health. Her manager, Taner Budak, announced on his social media account that the artist had developed kidney problems and that her treatment was continuing in the intensive care unit.
TRANSFERRED TO INTENSIVE CARE
In his statement, Budak used the following expressions: "Our artist, Ms. Muazzez Abacı, underwent angioplasty and had a stent placed last week due to heart issues. Her treatment was continuing in a normal room. However, during the checks, it was determined that the contrast fluid given during the angioplasty caused problems in her kidneys. Due to the kidneys not functioning properly, fluid accumulated in her lungs, leading to difficulty in breathing. For this reason, her treatment is continuing in the intensive care unit."
