The legendary mobile phone brand Motorola is preparing to return to the Turkish market after a 10-year hiatus. In a statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) in recent months, it was mentioned that discussions had begun between Lenovo Ireland International Ltd. and İndeks Bilgisayar. It has been learned that the negotiations between the companies are ongoing and that the industry is closely monitoring the outcome.
In the 1990s and early 2000s, Motorola, which made a mark in the mobile phone market, had ended its operations in Turkey about 10 years ago. Steps towards the brand's return to the Turkish market are still considered a noteworthy development alongside the growth in the smartphone market.
