The first session of the central exam within the scope of the High School Transition System (LGS) has begun. The second session of the exam, which 1 million 10 thousand 916 students have applied for, will start at 11:30.

THE FIRST SESSION HAS STARTED
The first session of the exam, which consists of two sessions, started at 09:30. The first session will end at 10:45. The second session will start at 11:30 and will end at 12:50.
MORE THAN 1 MILLION STUDENTS APPLIED
The central exam, which 1 million 10 thousand 916 students applied for, is being held in 973 exam centers, 3 thousand 938 schools, and 62 thousand 693 classrooms within the country, and in 13 exam centers, 13 schools, and 37 classrooms abroad. Necessary measures have been taken for 105 visually impaired and 299 partially sighted students. Due to special circumstances, 199 students have been allowed to take the exam at home or in the hospital.
STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO MEET THEIR NEEDS BETWEEN SESSIONS
In the first session of the exam, questions will be asked from verbal fields. A total of 50 questions will be asked from Turkish, the history of the Turkish Republic and Atatürkism, religious culture and moral knowledge, and foreign language classes, with a response time of 75 minutes.
In the second session, where 40 questions will be asked from mathematics and science subjects, students will have 80 minutes. During the 45-minute break between the two sessions, students will be able to go out to the school gardens and meet their needs.
Students who do not take the LGS central exam, which is not mandatory, will be placed in high schools through local placement.
PARENTS DID NOT LEAVE THEIR CHILDREN ALONE
Meanwhile, candidates who will take the exam at Anıttepe Middle School in Çankaya arrived at the school early in the morning to wait for the entrance to begin. After warnings, information, and security checks by the staff at the school, students were admitted to the classrooms.
Some parents also came to the school gate with their children in the early hours of the morning, while the staff requested those waiting around the school to remain silent during the exam.
