The lifeless body of İsa Özkul, who had gone missing after entering the water while picnicking at Göksu Stream six days ago following a relative's wedding ceremony in the Besni district of Adıyaman, was found.

THEY ENTERED THE WATER TO COOL OFF
The incident occurred on June 11 in the Göksu River. According to reports, Vakıf Aksu, Hasan Gulüsarı, Ali Yıldız, and İsa Özkol went to the Göksu River for a picnic after a relative's wedding ceremony. The four people entered the water to cool off, but after a while, they were caught by the current and began to drift. Noticing the situation, bystanders jumped into the water and rescued Vakıf Aksu, Hasan Gulüsarı, and Ali Yıldız from the current. However, İsa Özkol disappeared in the water with the current.
THE THREE RESCUED WERE TAKEN TO HOSPITAL
Upon notification, AFAD, UMKE, health and gendarmerie teams, and police divers were dispatched to the area. The three rescued individuals were taken to Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital after initial medical intervention. Police divers launched a search and rescue operation to find the missing Özkol.
100 SEARCH AND RESCUE PERSONNEL WERE INVOLVED
In addition to the teams from Adıyaman, personnel including Frogmen from Şanlıurfa Police Department Underwater Group Directorate, Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK) teams, AFAD teams, and approximately 100 search and rescue personnel from different provinces participated in the efforts. As a result of comprehensive work conducted underwater and on the surface, Malatya Gendarmerie Search and Rescue Teams (JAK) reached the lifeless body of İsa Özkul. After investigations at the scene, İsa Özkul's body was taken to the morgue for autopsy. The investigation continues.
