Just minutes after President Trump's threat to Khamenei, a completely different statement came from Iran. Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi, stating that the negotiation table has not collapsed, said, "Negotiations with the U.S. will take place on Friday at 10:00 AM in Muscat, the capital of Oman."

The Iranian Foreign Minister Arakchi stated, "Negotiations with the US will take place on Friday at 10:00 AM in Muscat, the capital of Oman."

ARAKCHI: NEGOTIATIONS ON FRIDAY AT 10 IN OMAN

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi made a statement regarding the nuclear negotiations with the US. In a message shared on the social media account of American company X, Arakchi said, "The nuclear talks with the US are planned to be held in Muscat around 10 AM on Friday. I am grateful to our Omani brothers who made all the necessary arrangements."

On the other hand, the Axios news platform reported, based on two US officials, that the Washington administration rejected Iran's request for the talks to be held in Oman instead of Istanbul and in a bilateral format only, and that the talks were canceled.

An Iranian diplomatic source, who provided information to AA correspondent, stated that the pre-negotiation contacts with the US have deteriorated and that the talks may not take place on Friday.

"THE ISSUE IS RELATED TO ISRAEL AND WAR INCITING STEPS"

Another unnamed Iranian official speaking to Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency stated that the issue is not about changing the location of the negotiations and that the Americans are "constantly changing their positions under the influence of war inciting trends related to Israel." The Iranian official indicated that they would not negotiate on any issues other than the nuclear program.

THERE IS A STATEMENT FROM THE WHITE HOUSE

A White House official provided a written response to AA correspondent's question regarding the location of negotiations with Iran.

The US official announced that the nuclear negotiations with Iran will take place on Friday, February 6, in Muscat, the capital of Oman.
