The dark side of Timothy Murphy Johnson (40), known as "America's best husband" for his romantic posts on social media, has come to light. Johnson, who was sentenced to life in prison for torturing a 16-year-old girl last year, is also alleged to have killed his wife Molly, who died under suspicious circumstances in 2017. According to a report by The Times, Johnson gained significant attention on social media in 2015 with a romantic note titled "Reasons I Love My Wife" that he wrote for his wife Molly. However, two years later, Molly's death from an overdose raised suspicions among her family and friends. HORRIFIC TRUTHS EMERGED Messages uncovered during the investigation revealed that Molly was subjected to violence, threatened, and forced into prostitution by her husband. In messages to her friends, Molly expressed her desire to divorce but stated that she was afraid of her husband, and she had also shared photos of the bruises on her body. Johnson's true horrific nature was revealed when he and his 21-year-old girlfriend kidnapped a 16-year-old girl and tortured her for six weeks last year. Following this incident, Molly's relatives began to voice their suspicions about her death. HER FAMILY IS IN PURSUIT OF THE TRUTH Molly's father, Bob Gelman, stated that his daughter had sought his help twice before her death, but Johnson convinced her each time. Gelman said, "My daughter didn't even inform me of her death. He immediately wanted cremation. I insisted on an autopsy, but in the end, he didn't even give me her ashes." Johnson's relatives denied all allegations, claiming that the couple was drug-addicted and that their relationship was unhealthy. It remains uncertain whether the investigation will be reopened.
