Şenel Yılmaz, who gained attention with footage of him catching a wild boar piglet with his bare hands on a snowy road in Sinop, spoke about the events. Yılmaz stated that he had caught them before but did not record it, saying, "I caught it for a moment and then took it. The adults can tear a person apart. I definitely do not recommend it to anyone."
A citizen who chased and caught a wild boar cub by getting out of his vehicle on a snowy road in the Erfelek district of Sinop spoke about the footage that created a big stir on social media.
"I CAUGHT IT TO HAVE A MEMORY"
Şenel Yılmaz (41), who caught the boar, emphasized that the incident was completely a momentary reflex and should not be an example for anyone, saying, "We encountered a herd of boars while coming from my village to Erfelek. I had caught one before, but I hadn't recorded it at that time. This time I caught it to have a memory and then released it. No one should aspire to this. The bigger ones can tear a person apart," he said.
"I DID NOT HARM THE BOAR"
Yılmaz, stating that the snow depth exceeded 1 meter at the moment of capture, said, "When I picked it up, we sank into the snow. I was able to get out of the snow by placing the boar in front of me. It was not a bad moment for me; on the contrary, it was a beautiful memory. I later noticed in the videos that I was also smoking. I did not harm the boar; if my intention was to harm it, I wouldn't have released it," he expressed.
"IT CAN TEAR A PERSON APART, I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT"
Yılmaz emphasized that unconscious individuals should not approach wild animals, stating, "I did not hold it by the neck and bring its head close to me. Otherwise, it can cut or tear a person apart. I definitely do not recommend it," he said.
