The Ministry of National Defense made a statement regarding the operations that the Syrian army will initiate against the YPG. It was stated that the operation is entirely carried out by the Syrian Army. "The security of Syria is our security. Turkey closely follows the developments in Syria. Our country supports the fight against terrorist organizations based on the principle of 'One State, One Army' in line with the unity and territorial integrity of Syria." The statement also mentioned that Turkey would provide necessary support if Syria requests assistance.

HUMANITARIAN CORRIDORS REOPENED FOR EVACUATION

The Aleppo Governorate in Syria announced that two humanitarian corridors have been reopened to facilitate the evacuation of civilians from the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods, which are under the occupation of the terrorist organization PKK/YPG using the name SDF, due to the obstruction of civilians' exit. It was stated that coordination was established with the Syrian army to ensure the safe evacuation of civilians, and in this context, two humanitarian corridors were reopened. In the announcement for the evacuation, which will last until 13:00, it was noted that civilians wishing to leave the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods could use the passages on Al-Awarid and Zuhur Streets, known by the local population, to reach safe areas in the city of Aleppo.

Since Tuesday, at least six people, including five civilians, have lost their lives in the SDF attacks on Aleppo, and 39 others have been injured. The Syrian Civil Defense, speaking to the Syrian official news agency SANA, announced that more than 3,000 civilians were evacuated on Wednesday due to deteriorating humanitarian conditions and the continuous bombardment by the SDF. It was noted that the majority of those evacuated were from the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods.

EDUCATION SUSPENDED

Aleppo Governor Azzam al-Gharib announced that due to the SDF attacks, the decision to suspend education in state and private schools and universities across the city on Thursday has been extended, citing the safety of students and educational personnel.
