According to the latest weather forecasts shared by the General Directorate of Meteorology, strong downpours will be effective today in the western part of the country, including Istanbul. The Meteorology Department has issued an 'orange code' warning for Antalya and has also shared the latest situation for each province.



According to the latest forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the general weather across the country is expected to be partly and very cloudy, with rain predicted in the Marmara, Aegean (except for İzmir and Manisa), the western Mediterranean, the western and southern parts of Central Anatolia, as well as in the regions of Mersin, Adana, Kırşehir, Nevşehir, and Kayseri. The precipitation is expected to be rain and showers along the coast, with occasional thunderstorms, while in the higher elevations of Kütahya, Afyonkarahisar, Eskişehir, Kırşehir, Nevşehir, and Kayseri, mixed rain and snow are expected.



STRONG RAIN WARNING



It is predicted that the rainfall will be strong in the regions of Antalya, Muğla, and Isparta, as well as in the eastern part of Burdur. Frost and freezing events, along with fog and occasional mist, are expected in the inner and eastern parts of the country.



ORANGE CODE WARNING FOR ANTALYA



The General Directorate of Meteorology issued an 'orange code warning' for Antalya, where very strong thunderstorms and showers are expected. Citizens living in this city are advised to be cautious against sudden floods and water inundations.

MEDITERRANEAN



Partly and very cloudy, with intermittent showers and occasional thunderstorms expected in the western Mediterranean, as well as in the regions of Mersin and Adana. Rainfall is expected to be strong in some areas around Antalya and Isparta, as well as in the eastern part of Burdur. Fog and occasional mist, along with frost and freezing, are expected in the inner and higher parts.



CENTRAL ANATOLIA



Partly and very cloudy, with rain expected in the western and southern parts of the region, as well as in the regions of Nevşehir and Kayseri. The precipitation is expected to be mainly rain and showers, with mixed rain and snow in the higher elevations of Niğde, Kayseri, Kırşehir, Nevşehir, and Eskişehir. Fog and occasional mist, along with frost and freezing, are expected across the region.



WESTERN BLACK SEA



Partly and very cloudy, with rain and showers expected in the regions of Düzce and Bolu, and mixed rain and snow in the higher elevations of Bolu. Fog and occasional mist, along with frost and freezing, are expected in the inner parts of the region.



CENTRAL and EASTERN BLACK SEA



It is expected to be partly and very cloudy. Fog and occasional mist, along with frost and freezing, are expected in the inner parts of the region.



EASTERN ANATOLIA



It is expected to be partly and very cloudy. Fog and occasional mist, along with frost and freezing, are expected across the region.



SOUTHEASTERN ANATOLIA



It is expected to be partly and slightly cloudy. Fog and occasional mist, along with frost and freezing, are expected in the northeastern part of the region.
