During the discussions of the article regarding personal data in the second article of the draft law on Amendments to the Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law in the Health, Family, Labor, and Social Affairs Commission of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, members of the opposition parties raised allegations about cyber attacks on e-nabız and the theft of data. Deputy Minister of Health Şuayip Birinci, in response to a question from Commission Chairman Vedat Bilgin, made a statement regarding whether personal data had been stolen from e-nabız during the pandemic period. "THEY TOOK SOME PEOPLE'S DATA THROUGH PHISHING"Birinci, who said, "There is absolutely no such thing. In the Ministry of Health, a person can only share their data with the person they want," continued: ''They took some people's data through 'phishing'. They obtained their passwords. This is a very small number. Would someone who has the data of 85 million people try to sell it for a thousand or two thousand dollars? Some people's passwords were compromised, and they looked into their systems. We made many statements at the time. The company operating in Qatar has nothing to do with e-nabız. Our system is so large that it is not possible for the codes to be the same today. Even if e-nabız were to be sold, we would proudly say so. We are fourth in Europe. There is not a single foreign license. All of it was written by Turkish engineers using open source. We have never had doubts related to hacking until now. There is no data leakage in e-nabız.''
