The Ministry of Health sent 25 pallets of medicine and medical supplies prepared to support Venezuela's health needs following the earthquakes in the country.
Following the earthquakes that occurred in Venezuela on June 24, 2026, the Ministry of Health sent medicine and humanitarian aid to provide support.
A TOTAL OF 77 ITEMS OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES WERE PROCURED
The medicines and medical consumables prepared according to the needs list compiled by Venezuela were procured in a short time and made ready for shipment. As part of the coordination efforts, the aid materials brought from Izmir to Kayseri by truck were shipped to Venezuela by plane from Kayseri today. Within the scope of the coordination work carried out by the Ministry of Health, a total of 77 items of medical aid supplies were prepared to be delivered to the region. In this context, 31 items (4 pallets) of medicine and 36 items (21 pallets) of medical consumables were procured.
223 THOUSAND 571 MEDICAL ITEMS TO BE DELIVERED TO VENEZUELA
The humanitarian aid package weighing approximately 16 tons and 400 kilograms contains various medical consumables such as antibiotics, painkillers, anesthesia drugs, and emergency intervention medicines, as well as syringes, intravenous catheters, sterile gloves, ventilator circuits, surgical gowns, dressing materials, and oxygen masks. This aid, consisting of a total of 223 thousand 571 medicines and medical items, will make a significant contribution to the health services provided in the earthquake-affected regions of Venezuela.
