The protocol official Mazaher Hosseini, speaking about the missile attack on February 28 in which the US and Israel targeted the residence of Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, described for the first time what happened at the moment of the attack. Hosseini said, "We were in the office during the bombardment. They completely leveled it. They were systematically striking the location where Mojtaba Khamenei was. He sustained minor injuries to his waist and leg, but he quickly recovered. His health is currently good, and he is on the verge of a full recovery."
Mazaher Hosseini, the protocol officer of the office of Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, made statements regarding the events of the February 28 attack targeting Khamenei's residence by the US and Israel, as well as Khamenei's health condition. Speaking at a public gathering, Hosseini stated that he was also in the office during the attack and shared details about the incident.
"THEY WERE STRIKING HIS LOCATION SYSTEMATICALLY
Hosseini noted that the area where Khamenei was located was directly targeted during the attack, saying, 'We were in the office during the bombardment. About 30 meters ahead of us, the place where General Shirazi and his companions were was hit. About 70-80 meters away, the area where Ali Khamenei was located was targeted. There were only a few of us inside during the missile and airstrikes. Ali Khamenei was usually in a place where Mojtaba Khamenei gives lessons, but they were not there that day. They completely leveled that place. They were systematically striking his location.'
"HE SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES TO HIS BACK AND LEG"
Hosseini stated that Mojtaba Khamenei was thrown to the ground by the impact of the attack, adding, 'He sustained minor injuries to his back and leg, but he quickly recovered. His health condition is currently good and he is nearly fully recovered. All claims that he was injured on his forehead are completely unfounded. Only a small wound occurred on the back of his ear. Apart from that, there is no serious injury as described.'
"HE WILL SPEAK TO THE PUBLIC WHEN THE TIME COMES"
Regarding claims that Khamenei is being kept away from the public, Hosseini pointed to security reasons. Hosseini said, 'The enemy is pursuing various aims by obtaining his image or voice through various rumors and pretexts. Therefore, there is no rush for now. He will speak directly to the public when the time comes. His health, resolve, and ability to lead the people are fully intact.'
