The moments when Kuriş was caught in a secret compartment located in the outbuilding of the luxury villa in Üsküdar were recorded second by second, while the claims that "He went and surrendered himself," which have been circulating on social media for days, have been completely debunked.
Footage of the operation regarding the capture of Süleymancılar community leader Alihan Kuriş, who was wanted within the scope of the criminal organization investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was leaked to the press. The wave of disinformation that had been carried out for days in the public and on social media came to an end with shocking records captured by police teams' cameras.
CAUGHT IN A SECRET COMPARTMENT IN THE ANNEX
During the raid carried out by security forces at the address in Üsküdar, it was determined that Kuriş was hiding in a secret compartment specially built in the annex of the house. Thanks to the attention of the police teams, Alihan Kuriş's escape plan was thwarted at the last moment, and he was detained in the secret hideout where he was hiding.
