I was also going to go to him, he called and said the police had surrounded the area. They surrounded the entire restaurant and the surrounding roads. After receiving the news, I headed towards the restaurant. Then they detained him, took him to the hospital for a health check, and from there, they will refer him to Istanbul. Of course, this is not a legal matter, it is a political case."

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had reported that an investigation was initiated against Özdağ due to the statements he made regarding President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
